A guide to survive university Cremona produced within the “Ci sto!” project, is the project conceived by the Municipality of Cremona in collaboration with universities, schools and a wide network of partners within the scope of the call “Lombardy belongs to young people 2023” promoted by the Lombardy Region in collaboration with ANCI Lombardia.

Universicast is designed and created by a group of university students from our city or who have chosen it for their university studies. Starting from some very first ideas born within the Interuniversity Consultation, through Universicast students talk about different aspects of their lives: university experiences in Cremona, in Italy or abroad but also aspects more linked to other spheres of everyday life: looking for a home, services for university students, museums and places of culture present in the area, events, useful advice in the kitchen and much more other.

The first episodes will launch on Thursday 6 June 2024all the others will be published on Spotify within the “Universicast” channel and on the portal www.cremonauniversity.it on a fortnightly basis.

The podcast aims to ppromote the protagonism of young people and their active participation, encouraging the development and acquisition of skills and stimulating peer-to-peer communication, through multimedia methods and languages close to young people. The children were accompanied in the planning and creation of the podcast and supported by Francesco Locane, podcaster and radio broadcaster with decades of experience. The professional shared with them both moments of a more training nature and moments of drafting and recording the contents.

The presentation event to be held Thursday 6 June at 5.30 pm at the Youth Information Center of the Municipality of Cremona in via Palestro, 17, will also be the opportunity for a moment to give back to the “Ci sto!” project, retracing the actions implemented including the establishment of the Interuniversity Council, the opening of the study room at the Informagiovani, the activation of courses dedicated to the management of anxiety, self-esteem, psychological support, study method, the organization of events and orientation activities (for example Young Student Salon, Job Weeks, personalized consultancy), events dedicated to meeting and dialogue between young people and the world of work (workshops and aperijobs) and the creation of communication initiatives for and with young people.
