The renovation and refunctionalization works of the pedestrian underpass between via Imbriani and viale Marconi continue. The construction site activities and the current safety regulations, unfortunately, have put aside the possibility of a partial reopening of the structure, while work is in progress.

The Municipal Administration apologizes and asks for patience. It is estimated that the works will be completed in a few more weeks, barring complications.

These are interventions that have never been carried out and which will finally make one of the underpasses most used by citizens more beautiful and functional. The removal of all architectural barriers in favor of citizens with motor disabilities is important.

The works, we remember, include the installation of a new LED lighting system (both on the ceiling and on the stairs) and a new hydraulic lifting system aimed at avoiding flooding and dangers for citizens.

Furthermore, two new platform stairlifts are being installed to facilitate the passage of disabled citizens. Platform stairlifts, thanks to their pushbutton panel, will allow greater autonomy for the users in question.

Among other interventions, the renovation of the two spaces in front (with relative anti-rain shelters) and the paving with a lane reserved for visually impaired citizens are planned.
