Tomorrow, Wednesday 5 June, in Palazzo Strozzi Sacrati the final of the regional contest in which the nine finalist teams made up of girls and boys under 18 will compete

Nine aspiring teams of young entrepreneurs coming from the areas of Florence, Prato, Arezzo, Pistoia and Mugello compete with theinnovative business goddessesconcrete and ethical to win the first EYE Tuscany Trophy. They will present their business plans in front of a jury of experts gathered in the Sala Pegaso of the Presidency of the Tuscany Region (piazza Duomo 10, Florence) tomorrow, Wednesday 5 June, starting from 10am. The one judged best will obtain the regional trophy and the prize of 1,000 euros offered by the Coleliwork benefit company. The President of the Tuscany Region will be present at the awards ceremony.

The future entrepreneurs who compete in the contest are all 16-17 year olds: some of them have won the EYE 2024 Trophies in their respective areas of expertise. The others obtained a special mention in the contests in their area and were then judged more deserving than their counterparts in the other provinces until they reached the grand final.

All these young people, high school students, participated in the entrepreneurial innovation process EYE Ethics & Young Entrepreneurs organized by Artes Lab, which allows them to discover the world of entrepreneurship and work ethics. They then created their own business project and took part in a contest in front of a jury of experts, obtaining a very positive opinion for the concreteness of their proposals, but also the originality and the ethical values ​​represented.

From 2023 Tuscany Region with the project Young man, Anci, Artes Lab and young Tuscan entrepreneurs from Confindustria, CNA and Confartigianato have signed the memorandum of understanding to spread EYE’s ethical youth entrepreneurial innovation education model throughout Tuscany.

The competing ideas, the authors and the schools/cities of origin:
-AUTOMATIC ORTHO: domestic vegetable garden to grow genuine homemade products by Rachele Conti, Erika Nuti, Stefano Pomposi, Gabriele Pratola, Alessandro Villani. They are students of the Fedi Fermi and Liceo Forteguerri high schools in Pistoia
– SOUL: burial service and companion service to say goodbye to your four-legged friend in a beautiful and natural context in full respect of the ecology of Tommaso Anzà, Adriano Lattanzi, Erika Piccirillo, Kelen Pollacci, Lio Wei (Datini and Dagomari high schools of Prato )
– HEAT : Heated coat hanger by Matteo Bigazzi, Matteo Carnevali, Alessandro Cecconi, Niccolò Ghezzi, Thomas Moretti (students of the “Galileo Galilei” State Industrial Technical Institute of Arezzo)
– BUDDYDRONE: Drone delivery service in remote and inaccessible areas by Dario Baroni, Carlvin Andrei Carino, Zahra Hakimi, Samuele Trigona and Roxelle Villanueva (Institute of Higher Education “Giotto Ulivi” of Borgo San Lorenzo)
– ORENTUIN: App to optimize traveler experiences by Flavio Ciaschi, Arianna Francioni, Marcantonio Nencioni, Vittorio Sabatini and Sofia Ventura (Russell Newton high schools in Scandicci and Santa Maria degli Angeli in Florence)
– SCHOOL BOOKER: App for digital books by Syria Berti, Sara Cangioloni, Giovanni Colucci, Chiara Liboni and Andra Ungureanu (Brunelleschi and Gramsci-Keynes Institutes of Prato)
– KINDNESS: App that stimulates the spread of kindness by Alessandro Balsamo, Giada Romano, Edoardo Laganà, Emilia columbari and Blerta Krasniqi (Elsa Morante high schools of Florence and Russell Newton of Scandicci)
– GARDINUM: App that teaches you to take care of plants by playing by Claudio Marco Basaglia, Benedetta Barzagli, Alessandra Buonaiuti, Sergio Massoni, Niccolò Tomberli (Convitto Cicognini and Istituto Datini di Prato).

The jury that will evaluate the ideas is composed of Simone Gualandi, President of the Young Entrepreneurs of CNA Nazionale and Toscana, Stefano Luccisano, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Group of Confindustria Toscana, Giancarlo Mannini, President of the young entrepreneurs of Confartigianato Imprese Toscana, Filippo Maria Dolfi, Cofounder of Fakebusters and representative of the AlumnEYE, Matteo Forconi, Lawyer of the Forconi Law Firm and Vice President of Artes Lab APS, Pietro Bardazzi, President of Coleliwork, Luca Taddei, Director of EYE.

The EYE Ethics & Young Entrepreneurs ethical entrepreneurship project organized by Artes Lab APS for 13 years allows high school students to learn the basics for developing their own successful business idea. Numerous of the proposals presented over the years were then developed and gave rise to real successes that have become thriving realities. Over the years, EYE has also been exported, thanks to a European project, to 8 other countries.

The EYE project is carried out, in the various areas of competence, thanks to the contribution of Fondazione CR Firenze, Confindustria Toscana Centro e Costa, Municipality of Arezzo, Municipality of Prato, Fondazione CR Prato, CNA Toscana Centro, Municipality of Borgo San Lorenzo, Banco Fiorentino .
In Tuscany the high schools Itis Galileo Galilei and Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II of Arezzo, the Liceo Classico “Santa Maria degli Angeli” and the Elsa Morante Institute of Florence, the Russell Newton of Scandicci, the “Giotto Ulivi” Institute currently participate. ” of Borgo San Lorenzo, the ITTS Fedi-Fermi and the “Niccolò Forteguerri” high school of Pistoia, the Convitto Nazionale Cicognini, the Dagomari, Datini, Carlo Livi institutes with the Umberto Brunelleschi artistic high school and the Gramsci-Keynes Institute of Prato .

The project will grow further in 2024/2025 in the Siena area with the participation of the Licei Poliziani of Montepulciano and the Istituto Superiore Valdichiana thanks to the contribution of the Rotary Club Chianciano Chiusi Montepulciano.
