The proclamation of. was held in the afternoon in the Council Room of the Municipality of Aversa Franco Matacena as mayor of the Norman city in the presence of the President of the Court of Naples North, Dr. Luigi Picardi.
In front of a packed council chamber – and a handover between two former mayors De Cristofaro and Golia – at the height of the investiture ceremony, the Norman First Citizen sent a very clear and precise message: “Now let’s all work together”.
“It’s begun! I wore the tricolor sash for the first time and it was a very strong emotion, shared with the many who are still today been by my side,” underlined the new mayor of Aversa.
“I thank all the institutions present, the prefectural commissioner for the work carried out and for the availability demonstrated in the handover, the managers and municipal employees with whom we will work side by side for the good of our city”.
“After a long electoral campaign, the mandate begins: I hope that all the members of the next administration will work in the same direction to make Aversa a more virtuous city”.
