CROTONE Flying Squad personnel, engaged in extraordinary control services set up by the Police Headquarters in the Tufolo district, arrested a 30-year-old criminal from Crotone, as he was found in possession of a gun.
As part of this activity, the agents carried out a search at the home of a subject, known for his prejudices, subjected to the measure of house detention since last December, which allowed them to find a casing, hidden from the inside of a drain pipe on the veranda of the apartment.
Having removed the packaging, the operators discovered a semi-automatic pistol cal. 7.65, complete with magazine, with abraded serial number which, analyzed by the Provincial Scientific Police Office, was found to be in perfect working order. Therefore, the young man was reported under arrest for illegal possession and possession of a firearm, and receiving stolen property; therefore he was associated with the Crotone Prison and placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Crotone Court.
