While waiting to formalize the final details and make public the name of the new coach of the First Team, the one that will participate in the next Serie A Silver championship, Pallamano Carpi, mdespite the relegation, he decided not to give up the skills and experience of Davide Serafini and to entrust him with the role of Youth Sector Manager. The company thanks you Marco Manfredini for the excellent work done with the boys in the previous season and we wish him a year full of satisfactions in Serie B at the helm of Rapid Nonantola.
There are four youth teams that Pallamano Carpi intends to set up in 2024/25, namely Under 11, 13, 15 and 17. The two minor categories will certainly have coaches Lorenzo Nocelli, while for the Under 17s the Company wishes to take more time to decide who to entrust it to. The Under 15 team, however, will be led by Serafini himself, from whose words a very clear picture emerges of the events that have just passed and the need to include them in a five-year budget: “There is still a bit of bitterness about the relegation. It is clear that many responsibilities belong to those who have steered this boat, I assume them fully because it is my job to do so. But I must say that in these last five seasons we have almost always achieved our objectives. We have developed a group of very talented local kids, won three championships and achieved safety for two consecutive years, passing through the play-outs but deservedly staying in the first national category. So if I have to take stock of these seasons, it is certainly positive, it describes a healthy club that has a vision of the future and a desire to grow, continuing to invest in its own nursery. It is for this reason that I believe the time has come for me to give way to someone else in the management of the First Team and with great serenity dedicate myself to the youth sector, as well as continue as technical manager of the Club”.
