“The potholes in the streets are always there, despite the electoral promises!“: And with this observation that Davide VerrandoFratelli d’Italia candidate for Rolando mayor, launches a direct accusation against the outgoing administrators.
“I waited until the last week before the vote and I had to see that the outgoing administrators can’t even carry out their electoral tricks. I am referring to the infamous asphalt plan of which there is no obvious trace” declares Verrando in a critical tone.
The issue of bumpy roads and dangerous potholes is one of the most felt by the population, and Verrando highlights the situation: “Except for a few improvised repairs, the streets of Sanremo remain a disgrace. Indeed, uneven asphalt has even increased with the end of construction sites which have also created traffic chaos. From via Padre Semeria to English Coursefrom the Old Port in the center of via Canessathe neighborhoods, the suburbs, we find bumpy asphalts and potholes that are even dangerous for the safety of those traveling by motorbike, continue to reign supreme”.
Verrando does not limit himself to criticizing, but proposes concrete solutions: “One of the critical points identified is via Padre Semeria, a street that should represent a business card for French tourists, who make up over 30% of Sanremo’s tourist-commercial economy and instead remains a terrible business card. With Rolando as mayor it will be fixed as soon as possible and also made more welcoming, for example with a beautiful welcome flowerbed and more”, concludes Verrando.
Davide Verrando’s promise is clear: “With Rolando as mayor, Sanremo will finally see the implementation of an effective asphalt plan, which will put an end to a problem that has afflicted the city for too long. The streets will be not only safe, but also more welcoming, for residents and tourists who choose Sanremo as their holiday destination. A concrete commitment for the future of the city and for the safety of all its inhabitants“.
