Palazzolo sull’Oglio. The “temporary club” on the banks of the river hosts for the second consecutive year the final stages of the famous contest dedicated to emerging musicians.
From Friday 7 June, starting at 8.30 pm, at the Darsena Pop, at Parco Metelli in Palazzolo sull’Oglio, the phases of “Arezzo Wave Lombardy”, regional declination of the longest-running Italian “scouting” contest dedicated to new emerging talents. In its long history it has launched artists such as Afterhours and La Representative di Lista up to Piqued Jacks, the indie rock band, which represented San Marino at Eurovision 2023.
The first semi-final evening is scheduled for Friday 7 June (it will be repeated the following week, Friday 14 June): on each evening four projects between bands and solo artists will perform, but only two will have the opportunity to access the next phase.
The winner of the Best Band-Lombardia 2024 title will be able to participate in the national final of the Arezzo Wave Contest, “the first station for future success”, the details of which will be announced soon on the arezzowave.com website and related social channels.
Darsena Pop it will open as early as 6pm with free admission. It will therefore be a unique opportunity to enjoy excellent music, discover new vibes and of course taste the best Italian street food specialties selected by Eatinero. In addition, there will be no shortage of craft beers with the selection proposed by the Birra di Classe beer truck, with goodies from the best Italian microbreweries, and the already iconic Darsena Cocktail Bar, a new kiosk on wheels, open every day of the week from 4pm, with artisanal ice creams by Ila Glacè, artisanal cocktails, desserts, café by Pura Vita and many fresh proposals.
