Rossini, with a clear and decisive commitment, aims to guarantee the safety and well-being of the citizens of Rovigo through a series of innovative and concrete measures.
Protection of Urban Security
Urban security is an essential element for free expression of the individuality of every citizen, as long as this does not limit the rights of others. The Ministerial Decree of 5 August 2008 offers local administrators the tools to adopt effective measures aimed at recover and preserve public spacesguaranteeing free and safe use for all.
Priority Interventions
Antonio Rossini proposes a series of interventions aimed at combat situations of urban degradation and isolation which encourage criminal phenomena, such as drug dealing, prostitution, begging and violence linked to alcohol abuse. Rossini undertakes to combat damage to public and private property, thus improving urban quality and ensuring the usability of common spaces. Rossini’s policies also address the neglect, degradation and illegal occupation of buildings, restoring dignity and decorum to the city’s buildings. Strict measures will be put in place to prevent obstruction to traffic and improve urban decorum, combating illegal commercial activity and the illegal occupation of public land. Finally, initiatives will be taken to repress behavior that offends public decencysuch as street prostitution and harassing begging, ensuring safe and peaceful use of public spaces.
Collaboration between Citizens and InstitutionsRossini firmly believes in the shared management of urban common goods. By proposing a collaboration pact between citizens and institutions, he aims to create shared, attentive and participatory control. This collaboration could result in an increase in reports to the police regarding potentially dangerous behaviorthus strengthening institutional action in the areas of greatest public interest.
