In recent days the Free Iblean Municipal Consortium has been working on studying the best solution for the reclamation of provincial roads.
The project, studied by the environment sector of the free consortium, involves the creation of an integrated system for managing and combating waste abandonment. This is the heart of the important act of direction signed by the Extraordinary Commissioner of the Free Municipal Consortium of Ragusa, Patrizia Valenti.
Through this work, the former province aims to further strengthen the action implemented by the body to guarantee the protection and decorum of the entire provincial territory.
In order to proceed quickly, a first experimental phase will begin, the results of which will be the basis for the planning and implementation of a subsequent phase to combat waste abandonment. To carry out the project, four initial actions are planned: first, the mapping, numbering and naming of the polluted areas; then the remediation of the contaminated sites will follow. Two other actions will be the implementation of the video surveillance network and finally the creation of a communication plan.
Finally, a program agreement with the mayors of the Municipalities gathered in the Ragusa SRR is extremely important to improve the effectiveness of the collection of special inert waste and domestic waste.
In the hope that the project will become fully operational and that with the right sanctions the number of dirty citizens who deface our splendid territory will increasingly decrease.
