Sigerico SpA announces that in the next few days the notices for the payment of the Waste Tax (TA.RI.) of the Municipality of Siena relating to the year 2024 will be sent. The bills will be delivered to taxpayers via postal service, ordinary email or certified email, in based on the expressed preference.
Terms of payment
The payment of the 2024 Tari can be made in three equal installments, using the F24 attached to the document or via the SSD system. The installment deadlines are as follows:
- 1st installment: 1 July 2024
- 2nd installment: 30 September 2024
- 3rd installment: 2 December 2024
Alternatively, you can pay the entire amount in a single payment by 1 July 2024.
Receiving bills
The bills will be sent in a single shipment. If taxpayers do not receive the bill by 25 June 2024, they can request a copy via email ([email protected]) or by going personally to the Sigerico SpA offices in via Fontebranda n. 65, open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 16:30.
ISEE benefits
Exemptions are provided for domestic users in situations of socio-economic hardship and for homes occupied by people over seventy with an ISEE income lower than certain limits: up to €6,500; exemption from the tax for homes occupied by a single person over seventy with an ISEE income of less than €7,500; whose deadline for submitting the application expired on 31 March 2024. Requests for these benefits had to be submitted by 31 March 2024.
Other important details
From 1 January 2023, for domestic users registered in the name of residents in the municipality of Siena, the number of occupants is that resulting from the registry records on 1 January of the reference year.
New from 2024
Starting from 1 January 2024, in accordance with resolution no. 386/2023 of Arera, the UR1 (0.10 euro/user) and UR2 (1.50 euro/user) items will be introduced in the waste tax. These items are intended to compensate for costs incurred to harmonize the objectives of the circular economy and environmental protection.
