On the weekend of8 and 9 Junethe spaces offormer complex of the Salesians of Faenza they will hostLe Manfrediane – Meetings and Clashes in Faenza‘, an initiative inserted in the context of events linked to the Niballo – Palio di Faenza.
The project, organized by ASD Sala d’arme Achille Marozzo Romagna and with free entry, was created with the intention of enrich the schedule of Palio events through a martial component and a series of events.
There cultural proposal it will be composed of historical conferences, educational activities, presentation of graphic works and books related to the themes of dueling, military life and local history, hence the “meetings”.
The “clashes”, however, will be represented by a historical fencing demonstration tournamentin which the peculiarities of the most characteristic and iconic weapons of the era will be shown and explained.
The program will start on Saturday 8 June at 3pm with stands and events until 11pm; Sunday start of activities at 10am until 11pm.
