Atalanta has reached an agreement with Milan for the redemption of Charles De Ketelaere. Already during the afternoon there were positive sensations regarding a possible white smoke, but the contacts continued throughout the evening until the situation was now reached. Between today and tomorrow – the deadline for formalizing the redemption – CDK’s stay at the Nerazzurri will be made official.
The figures are more or less those already known, even if there is a minimum leveling downwards. Negotiations therefore concluded for 22 million plus 2 in bonuses, in addition to the 3 already paid initially, upon the Belgian’s arrival at the Nerazzurri. A “discount” that makes one think more of an adjustment to what was seen a year ago – with the negotiation taking a long time, almost two weeks after having closed with Milan – rather than a real necessity: in short, a sort of question in principle.
On the other hand, the will of the parties was to continue together, also seeing what was declared by the Bergamo CEO, Luca Percassi. So, repeating: 27 million deal – 3, plus 22 redemption, plus 2 bonus – and 10% on future resale (excess from the 25, potentially 27) which remains unchanged.
