Reopens for the new summer season the Mallozzi Rivieraprivate equipped beach in Anzio for free use by disabled people and their carers. The opening day is set for next Wednesday 5 June and the structure it will remain open until September 15th.

New bathing season in Anzio on the beach equipped for disabled people

The initiative was born from collaboration between the ASL Roma 6, the Cooperativa Alteya Onlus and the municipality of Anzio. The beach is, in fact, given under concession to the local health authority responsible for the area and is managed by the operators who are based in Alteya.

The factory, open from 8.00 to 18.30is equipped with all the structures that facilitate its use but also with a sea ​​rescue and first aid service to give to his visitors all guarantees prescribed for bathing facilities.

Access is via walkways that allow the transit of those traveling in wheelchairs and all the typical services of equipped beaches are available. From umbrellas to raised sunbeds, from gazebos under which to take shelter to find shade and refreshment, to Job chairs for easier transfer into the water for those who are not self-sufficient.

Guests will also be able to count on the collaboration, as well as the surveillance, of the rescue service workers and support staff.

Access to the beach is free also for companions, and is permitted to people with disabilities based on the criteria established by law 104/92 (article 3, paragraph 3) or to beneficiaries of civil disability treatments with accompanying allowance.

Each guest may be accompanied by a maximum of two people and a reservation will be required to access which can be done by calling 347.7704828, from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 16.00.

To allow the greatest possible enjoyment of the Mallozzi Riviera by the greatest number of people book for a maximum period of 7 days, even if not consecutive.

The ASL Roma 6 plant thus reaches its fourth season and presents itself as a model of excellence which, in its opinion, could be tested and introduced also on other beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast (read here).
