With the presentation of the volume ‘A different conductor – A different conductor’ by Enrico Zanella. The theme of the 2025 Festival has been announced
Last words for the International Festival of Different Abilities of the Nazareno social cooperative entitled “The Beauty that recreates”. To conclude the 2024 Festival it will not be a traditional artistic show but a cultural meeting with the presentation of a book, Tuesday 4 June at 7 pm at the Bistrò53, written by the maestro Enrico Zanella, director of the Scià Scià Orchestra of Carpi. “A different conductor”, Zanella’s volume, is an interactive text, created to share the experience and musical teaching method developed in fifteen years of directing the Scià Scià Orchestra, composed mainly of musicians bearers of psychophysical disabilities, by the author. The musician Enrico Zanella makes his experience and his ingenious innovations available to musicians and music teachers to manage, conduct, compose and arrange music for a staff made up of people with disabilities.
“A different conductor”, is a Nazareno Cooperativa Sociale project coordinated by Emanuela Ciroldi with the collaboration of the operators Stefano Tincani And Cristina Uguccioni (for the improvement of the method), Tuesday 4 June, at the presentation of the text, Sergio Zini President Nazareno, will alternate in dialogue with maestro Zanella, with the Scià Scià Orchestra which will perform with musical performances explaining the method and with a truly special guest who arrives for the occasion from Ancona: the pianist Enrico Guercio (carrier of autism spectrum disorders) of the “IL Piccolo Principe” Social Cooperative.
“This year too – states Sergio Zini – the International Festival of Different Abilities had the honor of hosting women and men full of life, encountered their art and their science, witnessed their stories, incredible journeys which led them to live the commitment to their own desires with passion and determination. And in every story told we have rediscovered once again that it is precisely the relationship with the other that illuminates the path towards the discovery of one’s own person, one’s value and one’s possibilities. We are unique because we are loved; without the Other the Self does not exist, nor is an experience of good possible. For this reason the title of the next Festival of Different Abilities (2025 edition) will be: “Ben Altro son io”.
