A very important commitment for Italian women’s national field hockey team. Today, Monday 3 June, the event begins in Terrassa (Barcelona). Nations Cup 2024an event scheduled until Sunday 9th which offers access to the next edition of the Hockey Pro League.

How does the Tournament work? The formula foresees in the first instance a division of the teams into two groups of four, with composition drawn up based on ranking. The top two from each group will then play in the semi-finals, then the finals. The third and fourth teams of each group will also compete to decide the placings from fifth to eighth place.

Andres Mondo’s athletes, number 19 in the raking and in this context bringing up the rear, will face in group A the Spain (number 1), the South Korea (number 12) and theIreland (number 13). In group B there will be Japan (10), New Zeland (11), Chile (15) e Canada (17).

Our girls will inaugurate the event by meeting Korea today at 5pm. Tomorrow, at the same time, it will be Ireland’s turn. On Thursday at 7.30pm the prohibitive match against Spain. All matches will be visible, upon subscription, on the Watch Hockey platform. Below are the calls and the programme:
