Savona controls – During the past week, between the capital and the extreme west of the province of Savona, the State Police carried out various territorial control services, which saw the use of policemen from the Volanti, the Alassio police station and the “Liguria” Crime Prevention Department. ” of Genoa.
From 27 May to 2 June, a total of 1110 people were identified and 400 vehicles checked, seven people were reported to the Judicial Authority.
Furthermore, the Police Commissioner of Savona issued a warning to a fifty-two year old man for threats and serious conduct of domestic violence towards his wife.
The person warned was formally invited to go to the Cipm – Italian Center for the Promotion of Mediation, Albenga office, to undertake the integrated treatment path, in execution of the Zeus protocol, aimed “at making the mistreatment subject aware of the negative value of their actions and to reduce the recurrence of episodes of violence”.
All daily prevention services are supported by the Specialties of the State Police, and this week they have carried out over 600 vehicle checks, identifying more than 2000 people.
This week, the strengthening of controls has allowed a further increase, as many as 3,200 people have been identified, of which thirteen have been reported to the Judicial Authority.
Checks will continue for the next few weeks to ensure everyone’s safety in the city.
