The Carabinieri of the Cremona Radiomobile Section have a 23 year old young man reportedconvicted, for having refused to undergo a drug use test for those driving a vehicle.
Dangerous driving conduct
On the evening of Saturday 1 June 2024, around 11pm, a mobile radio patrol was there in via Cadore in Cremona and noticed a suspicious car with only the driver inside. The man had a dangerous driving conduct, because he performed at the intersections sudden maneuvers and he had one high speed due to road and traffic conditions.
Carabinieri control
The car was reached and blocked and the driver was identified as the 23-year-old who, during the check, was particularly euphoric. And he showed clear and obvious symptoms of one recent drug use, taking into account his state of alteration and his overall physical condition. The military, having verified that he had not drunk alcohol, invited the driver to go with them to a health facility for tests.
Complaint and license withdrawn
The man agreed to go to hospital, but when it was time to take samples for subsequent tests, he refused to follow up on the investigations. As a result, the Radiomobile military have reported the 23-year-old for refusing to take a drug test and his driving license was immediately revokedwhile the car was entrusted to the owner.
