The R continues with great shows and artists of the best Italian and international musicUGBY SOUND FESTIVAL, in one of the most beautiful Italian locations, the Isola del Castello di Legnanoon the outskirts of Milan, which in 23 editions has become a real point of reference for Italian summer events.
After the success of the SUBSONICA and COSMO shows with opening by DIE ANTWOORD, and the two cartoon and 90s themed evenings, this evening comes the highly anticipated concert of PLACEBO. The band, led by Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, is known for having revolutionized rock music through the union of other musical genres and sounds, creating a unique and unmistakable sound. Opening act of the live will be i PEAKS.
Virgin Radio is the official radio of the PLACEBO concert at the Rugby Sound Festival.
Everything is also ready for the live show on July 2nd by SUICIDAL TENDENCIES and AGNOSTIC FRONT, the two legendary American bands who are stopping at Rugby Sound for the only Italian date of their tours, and for the show on July 3rd by COEZ & FRAH QUINTALE, who continue their partnership in the world of live music, protagonists on the stages of the main Italian cities, ready to steal the hearts of those who watch them.
MAXIMUM PERICOLO is expected on July 4th, one of the best surprises of recent years in the music scene as well as one of the best lyricists belonging to the new generations who has managed to gain a prominent position thanks to the ability to move from raw realism to irony with lyrics apparently simple but capable of creating a devastating empathy with the listener.
On July 5th the reggae of ALBOROSIE & SHENGEN CLAN returns for a special evening: it will dedicate a show to the Italian public in which the solid and deep roots rhythms, which have become its trademark, will meet the sounds that have established reggae not only as a genre, but as a true culture bearing a global message that has long since transcended Jamaican borders to spread and establish itself throughout the world.
We continue on July 6th with ZARRO NIGHT & Friends with IL PAGANTE and DJ MATRIX while on July 7th it will be the turn of another return: CRISTINA D’AVENA & GEM BOY.
July 11th is PUNK IN CASTLE with three of the bands that made the history of the genre in our country: PUNKREAS, DEROZER, VALLANZASKA.
On July 12th, another Italian exclusive with CYPRESS HILL preceded on stage by ASSALTI FRONTALI: an all-hip hop event, with two of the most representative historical bands of the genre at a global and Italian level. Guest of Assalti Frontali, also Inoki Ness.
July 13th closes with DEEJAY TIME CELEBRATION. The protagonists of Deejay Time were true pioneers who were able to write an indelible page in the history of dance music and with a notable impact on Italian pop culture that still attracts three generations today.

BY TRAIN TO RUGBY SOUND WITH TRENORD
This year, reaching the Rugby Sound Festival by train will be even easier, thanks to Trenord. In fact, the Lombardy railway company, in addition to the scheduled trains, will activate special night trains for the return to Varese and to Milan and Treviglio on four dates of the event:
The opening concert on June 27th with Subsonica preceded by the DJ set of Röyksopp, the one on July 1st with Placebo, the one on July 3rd with Coez and Frah Quintale and the one on July 13th with Deejay Time.
It will be possible to travel on the special routes with a dedicated ticket that includes the outward journey on one of the scheduled trains to Legnano station and the return journey on one of the additional night connections. Purchasable only online at a cost of ten euros, the ticket must be used on the day of the corresponding concert and does not require validation.
