THE CARREER – Jakub Wojciechowski was born in Lodz (Poland) on January 9, 1990 and arrived in Italy at 16, recruited by Benetton Treviso. With the Venetians he made his debut in Serie A and Eurocup in 2008, and under the guidance of coach Corbani he won the Under 19 championship in 2009. The following season he had his first experience in Serie A2 with Casalpusterlengo, then Brescia and a return to Benetton. In the 2011/12 season in Brindisi he won the Italian Cup and was promoted to Serie A. Then another success with PMS Torino who was promoted to Legadue, playing a season as a protagonist. After two years in Piedmont and the experience in Mantua, the Polish center played 3 seasons in Serie A with Cantù, Cremona and Capo d’Orlando. The following year he had his first experience in Poland and another title in his trophy cabinet, in the first division with the Anwil Wloclawek jersey he won the championship. The 2018/19 season still Serie A with Brindisi, then Legia Warsaw and in the 2020/21 season he starts in A2 in Biella and ends at Olimpia Milano where he lifts the Italian Cup. More experiences abroad with the Polish team Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, where he wins the national cup, and in Romania with Dinamo Bucharest. The year just ended Kuba plays in Greece in Mykonos, in the second national series, averaging 9.2 points and 6.5 rebounds. In Wojciechowski’s rich career also three European bronzes with the Polish youth national teams.
