Young Ukrainians visiting Latina for the 78th anniversary of the Italian Republic

Great joy for the Ukrainian children visiting Italy as part of the bilateral initiatives promoted by a trade union organization of the Ukrainian National Police, in collaboration with the embassy. Guests of a village on the Pontine coast, thanks to the collaboration of the ANPS of Terracina, the young people participated in the celebrations of the 78th Anniversary of the Italian Republic, organized by the Prefecture of Latina.

Celebrations and Activities

Despite the rain, the boys visited the stands of the State Police and other police forces, taking part in the formal ceremony with the deployment of men and vehicles of the armed forces and police in the square. They had the opportunity to see up close the different equipment and vehicles used by the police, enjoying a unique and educational experience.

Moment of Honor

During the ceremony, the Prefect of Latina, accompanied by the Police Commissioner, presented the honor of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic to the First Director of the State Police, Dr. Roberto Pietrosanti, originally from the province of Latina and currently in service at the Multifunctional Center of Spinaceto. The children witnessed this important moment with amazement and joy.

Values ​​of Sharing and Friendship

The day was an opportunity to share values ​​of friendship and solidarity, made even more special by the commitment of the Latina Police Headquarters. The initiative allowed young Ukrainians to experience a significant moment, immersed in Italian culture and traditions, on a day that celebrated the values ​​of the Italian Republic.
