POZZUOLI – Great success for the 20th edition of the “Run in the Myth” foot race, which saw the athletes compete along the splendid route between Lake Lucrino and Lake Averno. In the men’s category, the victory went to Ismail Adim of the Caivano Runners team, who set a new course record with the incredible time of 36’57”, with an average of 3:18 per km. New record of the event. Adim, of Moroccan origins with an Italian passport, declared emotionally: «I really missed running on these beautiful shores of the lakes of Lucrino and Averno. After 15 years of absence, returning to victory here is something special. Next year I will definitely be there! The podium was completed by Luigi Palmieri (Atletica Nolana) in 40’24” and Ciro Esposito (Antoniana Runners) in 40’31”. For the women’s category, Tiziana Ricciardi of the ASD Napoli Nord Marathon team took first place with a time of 48’55” and an average of 4:22 per km.
