CATANZARO JUG The Shareholders’ Meeting of Harmonic Innovation Group Benefit Company, meeting in ordinary and extraordinary sessions, it resolved the corporate integration operation with EHT Holdinga consortium company based in Catania which brings together 80 innovative companies and SMEs and 49 investors. This is another key and fundamental stage in the execution of the Harmonic Innovation Group which, as a private company of public interest, operates with the objective of making Southern Italy the heart and engine of the development of the Harmonic Innovation Ecosystem: an ecosystem of innovation ecosystems at a national and international levelOne of the most important holding conglomerates on innovation issues is born which, by integrating three different macro-areas of activity and business (Real Estate Innovation, Innovation and System Integration), presents itself as one of the few entities capable of accompanying the entire supply chain innovation.An ambitious project, of social, cultural and industrial significance – recognized among the most important innovative initiatives also by the White Paper “Southwards” of The European House – Ambrosetti – which, thanks to this operation, is projected towards the new and important growth phase. Since the integration, which follows an industrial partnership between the two companies that began as early as 2022, the resulting Harmonic Innovation Group positions itself as one of the most important Italian players for innovation, not only in terms of thought leadership but also in terms of numbers: a 2023 pro forma turnover of approximately 40 million euros; an aggregate production value of the consortium network of approximately 420 million euros; Approximately 60 million in capital raised through financing by important operators – such as Banca del Mezzogiorno di Gruppo Medio Credito Centrale, Intesa San Paolo and Azimut Libera Impresa SGR – and investments by private individuals, businesses and institutions – such as Santo Versace, Luca Meldolesi, Gruppo Ferraro, Relatech, WebGenesys, EFM, Progetto CMR, Banca Etica and others – since the start of the project on the initiative of Entopan; around 1500 start-ups involved in various initiatives, 120 accompanied in incubation and acceleration programs and 25 participated and around 30 million in funding activated in favor of start-ups and SMEs in the ecosystem; 20 research programs managed for a value of approximately 45 million and a widespread network project of “places of the future” – in Italy and abroad – where large global industrial players, research centers and investment funds will meet and work together , promising start-ups and innovative SMEs, institutional and social stakeholders. All united by the vision – promoted by the Group – of harmonious innovation, as a tool to promote long-term economic, social, cultural and environmental impacts, which are inclusive, generative of social well-being, cohesive and sustainable.
They will be the fulcrum of this network of places of the future the Harmonic Innovation Hub Pitagorain Tiriolo (CZ) of 40,000 m2 between inside and outside whose opening is expected in the first half of 2025 and whose construction has started, and is now at an advanced stage, thanks to the financing of over €35 million from Azimut Libera Impresa SGR, and the Harmonic Innovation Hub Archimede, in the industrial area of Catania, over 22,000m2 between inside and outside, whose opening is expected in the first half of 2026.
Pythagoras and Archimedes (i.e. philosophical thought and technical ability, Calabria and Sicily), in homage to that Southern Italy and that Mediterranean, overlooked by Eastern and North African countries, which have contributed with their minds and their scientists and philosophers to designing the history and evolution of the world and that todayin the redefinition of geopolitical balances, they can find in Harmonic Innovation Group an enabler to regain role and centrality at a global level by building new relationships on exchange and collaboration.
It is in fact on the value of culture, community and fair exchange that, on the initiative of Entopan, the vision was born about 20 years ago which, anticipating the principles of the Mattei Plan and the consequences of the bitter conflicts that are marking our times, was transformed into a project entering its executive phase in 2021, with the establishment of the Harmonic Innovation Group and the promotion of the Harmonic Innovation Ecosystem placed at the service of the sustainable growth processes of the Mediterranean Area and at the same time in dialogue with the most important ecosystems of the Atlantic West and the Middle East.
In just two and a half years the harmonic innovation platform has operated concretely on multiple fronts: in 2021 the collection of funding and the launch of the development plan of the Harmonic Innovation Hub Pitagora; in 2022 the start of collaboration with other operators in Southern Italy with a view to inclusiveness and assets for the country and Europe, in addition to the management – alongside the Giacomo Brodolini Foundation – of the activities of Innovit, the strategic initiative of the Italian Government for the promotion of innovation in the country system in the United States; in 2023 the alliance with the Transatlantic Investment Committee (TIC) from which the Transatlantic Harmonic Foundation was born which works for growth and competitiveness by promoting networking between investment decision makers in Italy, USA, Europe and the United Kingdom, promoting the Transatlantic Harmonic Investment Fund and supporting the training of human capital consistently with the principles of harmonic innovation. In 2024, the involvement in the project – in addition to the already important exponents of the active academic and entrepreneurial world – of authoritative figures from the world of innovation and culture as members of the Entopan Strategic and Scientific Steering Committee which, led by Professor Francesco Profumowill support the Harmonic Innovation Group in developing the ethical and humanistic vision with which to accompany the great challenges of digital, energy and sustainability transition.
Today, in 2024, the integration with EHT opens the new phase of development that the company plans to carry out by executing an important Industrial Plan which will be presented by the end of the year and on whose guidelines it is registering concrete interest from important international investors with whom advanced discussions and due diligence activities are underway. The Assembly has recognized in the statute the figure of the Founder in the person of Francesco Cicione with tasks of safeguarding the values and the founding vision which draws from three different sources of thought: the social doctrine of the Church, the Colornian-Hirschmanian-Meldolesian possibilism and harmonious innovation. By the end of June the various functional technical requirements to conclude the integration process will be completed and the President, the new CEO and the new Board of Directors will be appointed Administration.
