An argument started inside the Bar Olimpia, on via Nazionale Adriatica Nord in Pescara, in front of a well-known shopping center and on the border with Montesilvano (Pe), for trivial reasons.
A knife appeared in the fight. Then, the two contenders came out and continued to insult each other and hit and slash each other. One of them, LC, 37 years old, originally from Atri (Te), was seriously injured by several shots. Despite this, he tried to get back on track and walk away, but collapsed almost immediately due to a wound to his abdomen. On the scooter on which he was traveling there were visible traces of blood (in the pictures). He was rescued and taken to the Pescara hospital where, intubated, he is hospitalized with a reserved prognosis and in intensive care. His life is in danger.
The other, CDG, 39 years old, originally from Teramano and resident in the Pescarese area, who left after the event, trying to escape, was tracked down and stopped shortly afterwards by the police. He too was taken to hospital in Chieti, with a seven-day prognosis due to some cuts.
Then he was arrested, late in the evening, almost in flagrante delicto, for attempted murder, and locked up in prison.
The Carabinieri of the Pescara provincial command are investigating the incident.
The existing cameras in the area are crucial. The responsibilities borne by the suspect were determined by “significant testimonial acquisitions made immediately after the facts, as well as by the results of the subsequent inspection and collection operations, which with particular reference to the results of the analysis of the films extrapolated from the video surveillance systems located both inside and near the public establishment where the crime took place, have made it possible to clearly reconstruct the sequence of events. The investigations have also made it possible to ascertain futile passions as the motive for the brutal crime. 01 Jun. 2024
