For Nerviano, June 2nd has always been synonymous with Cur Cui Ran, the non-competitive running race that every year attracts hundreds of participants from all over the area. And this year too the frogs, symbol of the organizing association of the same name, have returned to color the streets of Villanova: a return once again in great style, that of the 13th edition, which attracted more than 1,200 runners between adults and children.

As in previous editions, this year too the Cur Cui Ran unfolded along three different routespartly dirt roads and partly on the road: one of 12 kilometres, one of 7 and one of 1 kilometer for children up to 11 years of age, who this year too were very numerous – over 200 – on the route.
It was the longest of the men to cross the finish line first on the race ring Alessio Sposatofollowed by Luca Venier of the Runners Legnano in 41’56”; last step of the podium a Stevan Seminati of Atletica Nervianese, who crossed the finish line in 42’00”. Among the women, however, she was the first to complete the route Federica Cozzi of the Runners Legnano in 47’00”, ahead of Mara Galvani of Atletica Azzurra, who finished in 49’05”, e Cristina Brembilla of Atletica Nervianese, who finished the race in 53’403″
Reward yourself too the five largest groups: Nervianese Athleticswhich participated with 57 members, Whiskey Group Vanzagowhich fielded 45, Azzurra Garbagnateat the start with 29 standard bearers, Arese GTV with 27 members and AIDO Ceriano Laghetto with 25.
The 13th edition of the Cur Cui Ran, opened by the cheerleading performance of the Intensity Elite Cheer & Dance of Parabiago and as always animated by the live music of the street band BrassatoDrum, also marked the cutting of the ribbon of the new defibrillator donated by the Cur Cui Ran association and the Villanova family clubinstalled near the start of the race.
