Municipal: Donzelli, ‘the left disrupts elections in Lecce and Urbino’

Rome, 22 June. “They abuse their power to disrupt the elections. What was reported in Lecce and Urbino, two of the cities where the run-offs will be held tomorrow and Monday, shows the true face of the left”. This was stated by Giovanni Donzelli, head of the organization of Fratelli d’Italia.

“In Lecce – recalls the Fdi exponent – the president of the Puglia Region Emiliano was personally caught at a silent electoral meeting with the ASL managers, whose professional future depends directly on him. In Urbino a real threat proven by an audio (‘you end up like everyone else’) in which proof of the vote is requested ‘with a photograph’. Sensational and very serious cases on which we ask for clarification as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the left has often accustomed us to these methods: they accuse others by shouting about the danger to democracy, then they trample on the rules with their usual unscrupulousness. Certainly voters will not be fooled by false moralists who have always used the institutions as if they were their property.”
