The progressive essence and government programs sanctioned the agreement. A cohesive TOGETHER for the city. “Collaboration and sharing of values and programs are crucial for the progress of a community” – declares Giulia Robol.
Today the alliance between the candidate for Mayor Giulia Robol and Michele Dorigotti, candidate for Mayor of Officina Comune, took place: at the end of several meetings, a programmatic agreement was reached for the future of Rovereto, putting the good first of the city.
Giulia Robol establishes the alliance with Officina Comune and arrives at the ballot on 8 and 9 June with a strengthened coalition compared to that of Gianpiero Lui, cohesively supported by the centre-left, progressive, autonomist, environmentalist and liberal of the city.
It thus unites that 41.4% of the electorate who rewarded, in the first round, the commitment, competence, experience and good governance of Mayor Robol and the outgoing administration, and 15.3% (establishing the second most voted party after the Democratic Party, which reached the threshold of 19.3%) which rewarded the path of the Officina Comune capable of bringing new energy, “new rhythm” and innovative contributions in building participatory policies capable of involving the people in city government choices.

“This alliance represents a significant step towards a progressive, inclusive and common good-oriented Rovereto. The decision to finalize the alliance is based on a profound sharing of values and visions between us and Officina Comune. We both firmly believe in a politics that focuses on citizenship, social justice, inclusion, social cohesion and progress.
Our idea of Rovereto is very clear: it is a city that wants to continue to grow, because growth and development are fundamental elements for the well-being of all of us. But we want to do it in a responsible, sustainable way, respecting the environment, protecting the health of our citizens, guaranteeing equality, inclusiveness, safety and participation, as fundamental rights and freedom. This harmony of intent creates a solid foundation for building together a city that looks to the future with optimism, determination, and with the right dose of experience and innovation, which is the winning formula.” says Giulia Robol.

A shared program for Rovereto.
The political program, the result of careful listening to citizens’ needs and an in-depth analysis of the challenges that the city faces, aims to promote inclusiveness, for a Rovereto for all, even more lively, welcoming, safe, that is growing, open, university and European, that works, that participates, that works, clean, attractive, innovative, closer to citizens.
This convergence arises from the sharing of some clear and serious programmatic lines, capable of finding a square with a common vision of the future for our city. Giulia Robol with the entire coalition, of which Officina Comune is part from today, is ready to work, with her leadership which has also been recognized by the citizens, to transform these ideas into concrete realities.
The commitment of Officina Comune.
Officina Comune expressed its satisfaction with this alliance, underlining the importance of working with a candidate who fully shares their progressive vision. “We have chosen to run in the municipal elections aware of the need to bring a new rhythm to the government of the city. The result of May 26th confirmed this urgency, shared by many and many. Starting from this, we have chosen to continue the dialogue with Giulia Robol in these days and we believe it is important that this discussion has led us to this outcome” observes Michele Dorigotti.
We have chosen to enter municipal institutions believing in the value of confluence, of a different way of being in politics, a way to build all the alternatives we need” – continues Dorigotti – “We know that the path we propose is different from the usual, however It’s alternatives that we need. To deal with the housing emergency as well as the climate emergency, to fight against poor work and inequalities, to disprove those who say “it always goes like this”. With Giulia Robol we have signed a pact for the Rovereto government which starts precisely from these premises: on 8 and 9 June it will be important to go and vote, do it all, and vote for those who have chosen to share this proposal: together with Giulia Robol and the entire coalition she represents, we believe that there is the possibility of realizing this common vision.
