For some time now, the Junker application dedicated to the waste collection service in Aprilia has shown some shortcomings, a simple and functional platform, but with few services and information. And so the municipal administration decided to change the App and presented its new functions yesterday morning during a press conference in the presence of the Environment Councilor Vittorio Marchitti, the manager of the Ecology and Environment sector Dr. Haydee Micetich as well as personnel of the Progetto Ambiente company.
Some new opportunities and features of the KTarip app – downloadable for free from the Appstore and Playstore – are linked to the integration of the platform with the software already in use in the Municipality which will allow, once registered, to know and consult the same information that the administration has . And so every citizen will be able to know the code of the tubs, the collection campaigns and the contributions made, but above all they will be able to interact in real time by reporting, for example, the theft or exchange of bags or tubs – and avoid any sanctions -.
One thing was strongly underlined: registration is personal. If the wife of a family registers, but then her husband goes to collect her supply of bags and tubs, the lady on her profile will not see information about that supply. The App does not deal with information about the family unit, but about the individual. Also regarding any discounts, concessions prizes.
Upon first access it will be possible to navigate in a public area where the News section contains all the information citizens need for the correct provision, calendars (currently until June, soon extended until the end of the year), the regulation for the management of waste, the Tari regulation, calendars for domestic and non-domestic users, of the neighborhood eco-centre and of waste collection, indications on the times of display of the tubs, the register of municipal composters useful for accessing the discounts provided for by the specific regulation, indications on collection centers and the correct disposal methods.
The private area, however, can be reached after registration and the councilor and manager recommend that it be carried out in the name of the registered user for the payment of the tax.
«Here – they explain from the Municipality – it is possible to view personalized information based on your user such as the types of waste delivered to the eco-centre, the barcodes identifying the tubs, the composters taken on loan, the bags of organic waste and plastic collected at the eco-desk , the property for which the delivery kit was collected. Soon it will also be possible to check the date of delivery and emptying of the container of the undifferentiated residual waste and the TARI tax.
Informing citizens in detail about the collection methods, timetables, discounts and all the services offered is the first step in bringing the public administration closer to the citizen.”
«The objective – explained Dr. Haydee Micetich – is to guarantee greater transparency to the services provided to citizens, in view of the introduction of the specific tariff, to bring the user closer to the public administration».
«Through this application – underlined the Councilor for the Environment Vittorio Marchitti – we had the possibility of implementing, through a program already paid for by the public administration, a whole series of additional services and a direct line with the public administration and with all personal information relating to its users”.
This new platform, which represents a sort of upgrade, will be at zero cost because it is already included in the signed contracts.
