Tuscia Pride colors the streets of the center of Viterbo (VIDEO)

VITERBO – A rainbow of colours, many flags of Peace, the motto “F(e)roce, pe’ davero!” and lots of music music; these are the elements that animated the first Tuscia Pride which took place today, June 1st in Viterbo.
“An initiative that I hope will become permanent” – announced Mirko Giuggiolini, vice president of the Tuscia Pride association. “We have set ourselves – says president Giancarlo Mazza – a precise objective: we would like to create a safe space for the LGBTIQ community of the city and the province where we can meet, to address our issues and dialogue with the institutions”.
As scheduled, at 4.00 pm the procession, which started from the Fortezza car park, entered the door Romana, piazza San Sisto, via Garibaldi, piazza Fontana Grande, via Cavour, piazza del Plebiscito, via Roma, Corso Italia, piazza Giuseppe Verdi, via Guglielmo Marconi, piazza Martiri d’Unità, via Ser Monaldo, via San Giovanni Decollato, piazza Trinità, via Santissima Maria Liberatrice, piazza San Faustino and piazza Sallupara.
Present at the start to say goodbye were many municipal administrators: the mayor Frontini, the councilors Aronne, Antoniozzi, Angiani, the councilors Croci, Buzzi, Troncarelli, Sanna, Tonnicchi, De Alexandris, Enrico Mezzetti, president Anpi Viterbo with a group of the university council , Marta Nori president of Kyanos, Irene Temperini of the Pro Loco, Massimo Erbetti, provincial coordinator of the 5 Star Movement, Manuela Benedetti, provincial secretary of the PD and trade union representatives.
During the procession there were some short stops to thank those who allowed the demonstration and to underline the arrival in some points of the city, such as via Saffi and piazza del Plebiscito.
Finally, the procession reached Piazza Sallupara, where several local bands organized a concert and the DJ set animated the square.
