historical urban planning study center dedicated to Raffaele Colapietra

In L’Aquila a historical-urban study center dedicated to Raffaele Colapietra. The promoter of the proposal is the urban planner Pierluigi Properzi

The project continues and was discussed in a meeting that took place yesterday and was organized by Enrico Sconci. The urban planner Properzi, who collaborated with the historian in the study of the history of Italy and the South, explained that they are thinking of a secular study center, not only for history but also for urban planning, open to all and that is also digital. The intention is to also involve the University and the national urban planning institute.

Properzi said the city owes something to the professor Raffaele Colapietra but the study center must not be a mere institution, but rather a way of not dispersing the great heritage that the scholar left to L’Aquila and to Italy.

Colapietra was a master in telling the history of cities, teachings that are still relevant even after years. Yesterday was a first meeting with others to follow. Even the journalist Justin Parisse he had launched an appeal for politicians to also remember Professor Raffaele Colapietra with something stable.
