It also arrives in Cremona, as part of the Monteverdi Festival, the project Green Graffiti, innovative urban communication tool, which involves the creation of temporary pictorial messages to promote and publicize initiatives, with particular attention to sustainability.

A memorandum of understanding with the Teatro Ponchielli Foundation was signed in recent days by the Municipality of Cremona, with which the parties undertake to promote the Festival in this way, in continuity with the 2023 videomapping project.

A’unconventional experience which aims to convert city spaces through the exercise of creativity, transforming the city’s sidewalks and squares into promotional spaces, attracting attention and generating curiosity.

The messages, applied to the flooring thanks to a patented technique that involves the use of stencils, they will be made with a 100% “green” mixturebased on yogurt, chalk and cellulose, which makes them the perfect example of sustainable and temporary advertising.

The graffiti is aimed at a pedestrian audience only and does not require permanent installations, effectively leaving the urban scenario unchanged. The goal is to make the festival visible to citizens and to visitors throughout the period affected by the musical event, with symbols and slogans that recall its contents.

The economic contribution allocated by the municipal administration to support the initiative is 8 thousand euros. The expense is financed by the tourist tax.
