REGGIO EMILIA – The Ac/Dc concert for the Rcf Arena it was a baptism of international rock and confirmation that the Reggio Emilia structure can host great artists famous all over the world. Now we look to the future. Satisfied Mauro Macchiavernaadministrator of C.Volo, although he would like more events in a season.
“I’m excited because after last year with Harry Styles we had an international group like Ac/Dc that made rock history. It’s not easy to organize an event with all these people, it was excellent teamwork.” The event was the first time at the new facility for the Barleys Art manufacturer, Claudio Trotta. “The artists are always guests in structures such as stadiums, this time it is a structure built specifically and Ac/Dc are one of the first rock groups in the world”.
Macchiaverna, who is also the administrator of Rcf, one of the 7 members of C.Volo, is satisfied with the new audio system installed in the arena but above all with the spin-off that an event of this type has brought to Reggio. “I heard many people from all over Europe and beyond talking about Reggio”. As regards programming, however, Macchiaverna needs to change pace: there are still too few events related to music this season. “With only two big concerts at the Arena – he says – the management is not sustainable. We work with productions and we have always said that we need more events. We are working on it, yes, but we need to change pace even with smaller events on the boulevard. The arena is not yet at 100% of its potential.”
However, Trotta stated – during our pre-concert live broadcast – that this is the beginning of a collaboration. “We will certainly be able to bring other events, even with international artists”.
