Shortly after 1pm today, the president was reconfirmed Alberto Cirio (who kept for himself the delegations of regional political coordination, legality, rights, Pnrr, European funds and relations with EU institutions, relations with the State-Regions Conference, international affairs and communication, major events, animal welfare) presented the council that will support him in the next five years of government.
He will be his deputy Elena Chiorino (Fratelli d’Italia) which maintains the delegations it had in the previous five years: Education, merit and right to university study, Work, professional training and corporate welfare, Relations with subsidiaries.
The Cuneo area Paolo Bongioanni (Fratelli d’Italia) will instead deal with Commerce, Agriculture and food, Parks, hunting and fishing, swine fever.
To the Alexandrian Enrico Bussalino (Lega) the delegations to Autonomy, Security and local police, Immigration, Logistics and strategic infrastructures, local authorities.
The Novara native Marina Chiarelli (Fratelli d’Italia) will work on Tourism, Culture, Sport and post-Olympic, Equal opportunities and youth policies.
The outgoing councilor from Asti Marco Gabusi (Forza Italia) maintains the mandates for Transport and Infrastructure, Public Works and Soil Defence, Civil Protection and Refugee Emergency Management.
The Cuneo area Marco Gallo (Cirio List) will deal with the development and promotion of the mountains, internal and GAL areas, snow system, protection of protected areas (forests, parks, UNESCO areas, SIC and Natura 2000 network), extractive activities, territorial, landscape and urban planning, Biodiversity and truffle cultivation.
The outgoing councilor Matteo Marnati (Lega) will continue to have the mandates for Environment, Energy and coordination of the regional permanent table for the drought emergency, Innovation, research and related relations with public and private universities and research centres, digital services.
The outgoing councilor Maurizio Marrone (Brothers of Italy) maintains the powers it had, to which new ones are added. He will therefore deal with social policies and socio-health integration, emigration and decentralized and international cooperation, usury and confiscated assets, housing, family and children’s policies.
In the Alexandrian Federico Riboldi (Brothers of Italy) the delicate delegation to healthcare, including healthcare buildings.
The outgoing blue Andrea Tronzano (Lega) maintains the mandates for the budget, finances and economic and financial planning, development of productive activities: industry, craftsmanship, SMEs and cooperative enterprises, internationalization and investment attraction.
The outgoing chief of staff Gian Luca Vignale (Cirio civic list president) will have the delegations to Personnel, organization and assets, Legal affairs and litigation, Relations with the Regional Council, Delegification and simplification of administrative procedures, Development and Cohesion Funds.
The novelty of this term is represented by the introduction of the undersecretaries who will be Claudia Porchietto (Forza Italia) e Alberto Preioni (Lega) who will deal with the president’s delegations.
