The only Room 7interpreted by Tero Saarinen with choreography by Carolyn Carlson, And a gripping exploration of the human psyche in which mysteries reveal themselves without explanation. Saarinen embodies one multitude of archetypesoffering a dynamic journey through the tragic, the absurd and the myriad of mind games that shape our perceptions. Surrender yourself to the present moment while the mind sweeps away illusions and hug the changing tides of existence. Through the visual poems created by Carlson and Saarinen, Room 7 transcends language barriers, offering a universal experience where art speaks directly to the soul.

Westward Ho! is an absurdly melancholy and quietly humorous portrait of friendship, selfishness and betrayal. It was the first piece Saarinen created in 1996 for his company, known as Company Toothpick until 2002. It is considered the choreography of Saarinen’s international breakthrough, and has been part of the company’s repertoire ever since.
