PORDENONE. Among the events of Sunday 26 May in the Destra Tagliamento there is a singular one that is arousing a lot of curiosity, in Pordenone, “Nonne alla moda”: the elderly guests of the city’s retirement homes, Umberto I and Casa Serena, will parade on the catwalk in the convent of San Francesco, from 5pm, wearing the handcrafted clothes designed for them and created by Cinzia Cibin, a designer from Pordenone. Open to all, the fashion show will demonstrate the courage and ease of the special models, who will be accompanied by live music by Lune Troblante, with swing and manouche repertoire. The fashion show will be attended by some classes from the Ial of Pordenone who will take care of aesthetics and hairstyles and students from Isis Zanussi – Sistema moda, who will help backstage. Elderly and young people together for an event that also becomes significant from a social, intergenerational and sharing point of view with the territory.

In Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the heart of the historic centre, again on Sunday 26 May, from dawn to dusk, always attracting many enthusiasts and exhibitors, the antiques Fair. Piazza Risorgimento and the surrounding areas instead host “The attic in the square and the used book corner”, including objects, books, collections, coins, stamps, vintage and more; practically everything that is no longer used and which can instead be useful to others. In the center of Sacile throughout the day there is “Sacellum – the square of antiquities”, a second-hand, antiques, collectibles, crafts and vintage market
As part of the Jazz Insieme festival, it returns on Sunday 26th at 11am, in Pordenone, too “Jazz icons-sound guides of the city”, a cultural walk that starts from the town hall loggia, to discover suggestive places and corners in the company of a tourist guide and Enrico Merlin, an expert musicologist, who will tell some stories related to iconic records in the history of jazz. The walk ends at Paff!, where participants will be able to visit the permanent museum for free.

More music, on Sunday afternoon, in Pordenone, where in the Concert hall of Largo Cervignano, at 6pm, the “Allegro, andante, moderato e… largo” season continues with the concertain of some finalists of the VendraTalent music contest, organized by the music school VedraMusic. —
