Paolo Galbiaticoach of Dolomiti Energia Trentino, spoke after the 3-1 defeat in the series against EA7 Emporio Armani Milano in an interview published by the “Corriere del Trentino”.

Team ups and downs until the end. “I still have to process it. I would have liked to play again because, without wanting to appear presumptuous, we made Milan suffer. We had moments of blackouts and they made us pay dearly for them. We lived a year in apnea, always fighting. Excellent periods, others extremely difficult from which we got back up to make the playoffs we faced, truly believing in it. I think we have started a journey, now we will have to be good at continuing by finding the right new interpreters after launching so many.”

What is coach Galbiati most proud of? “Of the identity we have created. We have always been ourselves. We created a team that offered basketball that was fun to experience and watch, engaging, in which everyone felt like protagonists. We needed everyone’s contribution to keep the castle from collapsing and it went the way we wanted.”

What remains personally for the former Olimpia youth coach from his first year in Trento. “I worked a lot, even more so having to prepare for the Eurocup. I went into the gym in the morning and left in the evening. I perceived around me a society with a great love for L’Aquila and all its social projects. I come from a family that has always had the pleasure of lending a hand to those less fortunate and I have tried to do so as much as possible because bringing a smile costs nothing and pays off a thousand times over.”
