L’Under 18 of the Rugby Carpi and Formigine faced a tough match against the Rugby Colorno in the fourteenth clash of the Regional Group, once again fighting an exciting match against the Colorno team, given that in the first leg the white and yellow-reds had won 22-21 in Formigine, but on this occasion the victory remained for Colorno 33-26.

The destinations of Carpi and Formigine bear the signature of Perin, Orlandi, Tecce And Zironi. The Under 18 team finished the season in sixth place in the table. “I’m sorry that the season is over now – commented the coach Jacopo Rubbi at the end of the match – because we probably played the best game of the season. I underline the tenacity of the team, they never gave up an inch.”

Meanwhile, in recent weeks the first team of Rugby Carpi has been training in view of the next appointment: on Saturday 25 May they will play the first 7-a-side tournament (Rugby Sevens) of the season away to Ferrara from 3pm, organized by CUS Ferrara Rugby.

Also in the CUS Ferrara Rugby facilities, the Carpi Under 16 team will participate in the Sevens Tournament on Sunday morning at the Trevisani field from 10:00. At the same time, the Under 14 red and whites will have to compete in Bologna, given that they have a triangular match against Rugby Bologna and Valorugby Emilia.

Finally, again on Sunday morning the mini falcons of the Under 8, 10 and 12 will be present at the prestigious national tournament City of Modena Marco Mucchi Memorialset up by Modena Rugby 1965. The little athletes of Rugby Carpi compete against teams from all over Italy.
