They are some of the protagonists of the third edition of ‘Summer in the Fortress’, scheduled from 28 June to the end of August in the Medici Fortress of Arezzo. Concerts, theatrical shows, dance performances, book presentations and conferences organized by the Guido D’Arezzo Foundation presided over by the city mayor Alessandro Ghinelli and directed by Lorenzo Cinatti.
Among the protagonists also Paolo Benvegnù, Amanda Sandrelli, Giobbe Covatta, and many others until the final final performance, on August 23rd, of the “Le Stanze dell’Opera” masterclasses and the international polyphonic popular competition, with choirs from all over the world . To open the event on June 28th, “Barba live” with Luca Barbareschi. At dawn on July 14th there will be a concert by Paolo Benvegnù, while on July 19th it will be Max Angioni’s turn with his new comedy show ” Anche meno “. Special event on July 20th with Premiata Forneria Marconi. And again on Thursday 25 July Paola Turci and Gino Castaldo in “The Time of the Giants”. On July 21st “The Carnival of Insects” will be on stage with Amanda Sandrelli and Paolo Giovannucci. On July 24th Silvia Mezzanotte will perform in a concert in honor of Mina. Another special event on July 26th with “Out of balance” during which six acrobats from the Eleina D. Company will perform an evocative performance with safety harnesses and semi-static ropes. “Another lively summer full of events – declares the mayor and president of the Guido d’Arezzo Foundation Alessandro Ghinelli – which will be framed by one of the most beautiful spaces in the city.
