Robbery in via Camozzi, those responsible have been arrested: they are two very young people

Bergamo. He told the police that he had been attacked by two boys who had pushed him to the ground and had stolen the gold necklace he was wearing around his neck. The victim was a 51-year-old of Ukrainian origin, robbed on the evening of April 25th in the central Via Camozzi in Bergamo. On May 14, the soldiers of the Bergamo Radiomobile Section identified the perpetrators, two very young men of Moroccan origins.

The police collected the description of the alleged perpetrators provided by a witness, which allowed them to immediately recognize one of the two robbers who was still gravitating in the area. From the subsequent investigative activity, the military managed to identify another subject, the perpetrator of the robbery in collaboration with the arrested young man, a 17-year-old Moroccan with specific precedents. The victim, without a shadow of a doubt, recognized both young people as perpetrators of the crime.

In light of the elements collected by the soldiers of the Carabinieri Company of Bergamo, the Prosecutor’s Office asked the judge for preliminary investigations for a precautionary measure against both subjects held responsible.

On the morning of May 14, the Carabinieri, being aware that the 19-year-old was gravitating in the area of ​​the Bergamo train station, managed to intercept him and arrest him in execution of the precautionary custody order. After the ritual formalities, he was taken to prison in via Gleno.
