Patience is a great skill, but in the residents of the Via alla Strà area it has now given way to resignation. The road that connects Savona to the Colle di Cadibona provincial road was closed following the flood of October 2019 which caused a massive landslide.

“We no longer know what to think – they say – since the 2019 flood we are still waiting for it to be fixed. It’s always closed. The company had started working on it. Now everything is at a standstill.”

In May last year, after almost four years, the works that allowed the construction site to be opened were delivered. The works to restore the road network of Via alla Strà have been entrusted to the company Co.Ge.Fa Costruzioni Generali Fognature-Acquedotti based in Tiglieto (Genoa) for a total amount of 296 thousand euros and are financed with Pnrr resources.

“The intervention in via alla Strà is very complex – explains the councilor for public works Lionello Parodi – the works have started. An initial intervention has been carried out on multiple terraces which must now stabilize. The rains of the last few days have not helped. The times are those foreseen by the Pnrr and we expect to complete the work within the year”.
