In recent days, even in the evening hours, the Local Police carried out numerous checks involving around thirty public establishments, amusement arcades and tobacconists, aimed in particular at protecting public peace. There are fifteen sanctions imposed for failure to comply with the legislation regarding the management of slot machines (failure to respect timetables, as well as lack or expiry of certificates relating to the training of venue managers).
In particular, the operation led to it being ascertained that a private club was carrying out its business without having the right to do so and was therefore ordered to close it, while a fine was imposed on the owner of a venue where live music was being played without comply with the requirements of the authorization obtained, thus creating a nuisance for residents.
Local police officers also identified a public business opened illegally as no request had been sent to the competent municipal offices. A violation was also ascertained due to the incorrect management of waste and finally a building anomaly was found which caused the illegal emission of fumes.
The attention of the Local Police Command remains high for the prevention and repression of all phenomena that cause disturbance to public peace so as to guarantee social liveability.
