Following a series of serious incidents which threatened thepublic order and the safety of citizensthe Administrative and Security Police Division of the Pavia Police Headquarters executed today, Friday 17 May 2024, a decree issued by the Police Commissioner of Pavia.
Easy Disco Club closed
The decree provides the temporary closurepursuant to article 100 of the TULPS, of the public business known as Easy Disco Clublocated in via Piermarini n.2 a Pavia.
The closure, which will have a duration of five daysfrom midnight on Saturday 18 May until midnight on Wednesday 22 May 2024, was deemed necessary following a series of serious incidents occurred near the nightclub over a short period of time.
Quarrels and assaults
On April 14, 2024, during a dispute between young people, it happened an attack with bottles which caused injuries to a young man, who was taken to the emergency room in serious condition.
On April 20, 2024, during another discussion, an individual threatened those present brandishing a blank weapon and firing a few shotscausing panic among those present.
On April 21, 2024, a minor was attacked by a group of young people armed with a knife right in front of the nightclub.
Ensure safety
These episodes represented a clear threat to public safety and the safety of people. The temporary closure of the “Easy Disco Club” was therefore decided in order to prevent further accidents and ensure the safety of citizens.
The Administrative and Security Police will continue to monitor the situation and adopt the necessary measures to combat the phenomenon of “Malamovida” and guarantee a safe environment for all citizens of Pavia.
