Second edition of the event “ORIENTALLY Doing Business is learned at school – entrepreneurship education courses” organized by Confesercenti Lombardia office of Varese in collaboration with the CIOFS Fp Lombardia Association of Varese which was held in recent days at the Institute .

A collaboration with the Institute already in place for school-work alternation, training internships and hiring with apprenticeship contract art. 43: this event, however, aims to be broader in scope given that Confesercenti aims to do business and spread the culture of business also in other institutes, not just professional ones.

«It was a training meeting made up of advice and with the aim of transmitting the passion for self-employment – ​​he comments Ilaria Bruno – get involved, acquire skills, increase your curiosity, give yourself the opportunity to carry out your tasks with taste and passion, all of this will become a solid foundation for you that you will build first of all for yourself and why not, maybe one day to create something. All interventions aimed at starting an enterprise culture by stimulating and touching the work experience for future choices.”

«We are enthusiastic about continuing our collaboration with Confesercenti and this year too we wanted to join the Orientamente initiative» – declares the Director of the Varese office of CIOFS-FP – On Friday 3 May the Holy Father thanked the trainers of the Professional Training Institutions who “dedicate themselves with passion to young people” and urged us to become aware that “educational and training abandonment is a tragedy! Listen carefully, it’s a tragedy. And, if it is necessary to promote legislation that favors the social recognition of young people, it is even more important to build a generational turnover where the skills of those leaving are at the service of those entering the job market. In other words, adults share dreams and
desires of young people, introduce them, support them, encourage them without judging them”: here, initiatives like this are a concrete way for us to realize this purpose, which is the basis of our daily commitment”.

The activities that participated talked with the children leaving the third and fourth classes, received their CVs and laid the foundations for possible school-work alternations starting between October and November 2024 until March/April 2025 or for apprenticeship contracts 1st level aimed at obtaining the qualification of Professional Qualification and Diploma or IFTS (Young manager of sustainable tourism). The following businesses have joined the initiative: Il Nostrolab Comunicazione & web, Drogheria Vercellini, Yourself Company, Srl, Ristorante Il Ceppo, Aletti Montano & CO, Cral Ospedale Circolo SOC. COOP. ARL, Blanco Cafe Bistrot, Roberta bar, Mylius Cafè, Horizon Wellness & Spa Resort, MIV Multisala Varese, Buosi pastry shop.

Once the interview phase was over, three interventions enriched the event dedicated, precisely, to business culture Enrico Introini FIEPET territorial president who spoke about the importance of professional growth through work experiences. Ilaria Bruno of Drogheria Vercellini and representative of the Young Entrepreneurs of Confesercenti who fascinated the young audience by telling his story of the generational transition of the business, Mattia Scarantino Horizon Wellness & SPA Resort sales manager who explained the commitment and passion to undertake a job based on knowledge and experiences even abroad.

The first year students took care of the welcome and welcome coffee and at the end of the event they offered and served a thanksgiving buffet prepared by the institute’s students. The event is sponsored by the Province of Varese and the Varese Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Provincial Education Office.
