An evening of high fashion and art to support health services in Gaza

High fashion, music and art come together to become bearers of peace. With our eyes and hearts turned to Palestine, where the horror of war is devastating the lives of thousands of innocents, Saturday 25 May at 8pm at the Santa Giulia Museum in Brescia an evening of elegance and beauty will be staged, sponsored by the Municipality of Brescia: the aim is to raise funds to support health services in Gaza. «It may seem like a contrast – he explains Iyas Ashkarcity councilor and organizer -, but the Palestinian community of Brescia, which is very united in this difficult moment, has chosen to involve the city in this evening in which creativity meets hope. We hope many will participate.”

To take part in the evening – which will be hosted by the actress Sara El Debuch – you can buy tickets in the restaurants in the center Dukka (via Musei 9/B) and I Nazareni (via Gasparo da Salò 22).

The Palestinian designer’s high fashion collection will be on show in the cloister of San Salvatore Jamal Taslaq, who opened his atelier in the heart of Rome 25 years ago and who has collaborated with big names such as Raffaella Curiel, Elie Saab, Renato Balestra and Zuhair Murad. The evening will then be accompanied by the music of the Parisians Galilee Quartetstring quartet composed of the Palestinian brothers Omar, Mostafa, Tibah and Gandhi Saad.

There will also be one art market exhibition powered by over 30 artists from Brescia: the works will be on sale and the proceeds will always be donated to the doctors who work in Gaza.
