CONI made official last night the date on which the Board of Guarantee will meet for a hearing and then decide on Forlì’s appeal against the decisions of Lnd (through the sports judge) and FIGC (with the Sports Court of Appeal) which have already the request for a 0-3 draw with Carpi for the Cecotti case was rejected. The hearing will be held on Tuesday 4 June.
If Forlì has now put its heart at rest, those awaiting the outcome of that hearing are Ravenna, who are hoping for an incredible turnaround. There is little confidence, while thinking about tomorrow the idea of a possible repechage is starting to take root (but at least 3 teams should miss out on Serie C).
Anyway Esposito
Coming to the field Adriano Esposito will have to be a protagonist also for the next championship. Even if Lentigione was tamed without him: «From the outside – says the central defender – I saw the team very well. After taking the measures in the first half he played a great recovery, further testimony to the strength and compactness of the group. Now the final against Corticella awaits us: we want to win to close a fantastic sporting season and to put the club in the best conditions with a view to repechage.”
The future is a hypothesis
Esposito should also represent a firm point for the Ravenna team to come, even if for now he doesn’t think much about it: «The games will be played later. When the time comes I will hear the club’s instructions, these days I only have Sunday’s match in my head.”
