Civita Castellana – The Viterbo Construction School and the Ulderico Midossi Institute of Civita Castellana have entered into a collaboration to enhance education through innovation.

This pioneering collaboration is aimed at promoting academic excellence and broadening students’ operational skills through the introduction of cutting-edge teaching methodologies.

The fulcrum of this collaboration is represented by the establishment of a call for scholarships aimed at supporting educational projects that adopt Gaming as a tool for the prevention of workplace risks.

The Viterbo Construction School has provided the financial resources necessary for two scholarships worth 1,000 euros each, intended to reward the ingenuity of the two brilliant students of the fifth class B of the Midossi Technical Institute: Diego Albani and Fabio Grillini.

The judging panel recognized their project as an innovative idea of great value. Diego and Fabio will develop an application in the form of a 3D game, which virtually recreates a work site, allowing the user to interact with the objects present and identify potential safety risks in the workplace.

The Viterbo Construction School and the two brilliant winners of the scholarships, Diego Albani and Fabio Grillini, have set the ambitious goal of carrying forward the development of the game.

Their intent is to transform it from a simple pastime into a tool for professional training. Through a continuous process of improvement and refinement, they aim to create an application that not only entertains, but provides practical and effective training.

The Presidential Committee of the Construction School, represented by Sergio Saggini and Francesco Agostini, thanks the Headmaster Alfonso Francocci, the two young winners of the scholarships and Professor Dario della Libera, underlining the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and the world of Work.

This collaboration marks a significant step towards the implementation of cutting-edge teaching practices, highlighting the two institutions’ commitment to promoting quality professional training and successfully directing young people towards the world of work of the future.
