GROSSETO – The “Sea for everyone” project returns again this year, promoted by the municipal administration in collaboration with the Grosseto Balneari association and the Il Melograno social cooperative, dedicated to breaking down architectural barriers and guaranteeing complete access to the beaches for citizens and tourists with disabilities.

To date, the project has welcomed over 3,000 families to the beaches, with a record 176 free stays recorded in the 2023 edition.

From 27 May to 15 September, the 26 beach establishments in Marina and Principina participating in the initiative will offer stations dedicated to people with disabilities. They are joined by the Savoia Cavalleria Regiment and the Grosseto Police Headquarters, demonstrating their broad support and involvement in promoting accessibility.

Access requests can be submitted physically and/or by telephone at the infohandicap desk of the Municipality, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.30pm to 5.30pm, or via email: [email protected]. For the deaf, a mobile phone with WhatsApp is also available at the number 3371093182.
