In a phase of great difficulty for peace and democracy, the “Red is not Black” Association of Savona adheres with conviction to the four referendum questions promoted by the CGIL to put an end to, once and for all, the season of the Jobs Act and precarious employment raised to system. 2/ Best wishes from Parliament to Campanassa for her 100th birthday.

Precarious worker whose practice continues providing the illusion of growth, while the world of work appears increasingly affected by the intensification of exploitation of which the real trickle of deaths from accidents appears to be the most concrete evidence.

We have never believed, since the suppression of the escalator, that the compression of workers’ rights could lead to economic growth, and the facts have always proved us right. Furthermore, fractures and increased inequalities have been generated.

The success of the referendum process constitutes a step forward in the reconstruction of a progressive-constitutional identity, an indispensable step to successfully counter the right.

A right which, even more than in previous proposals of different political origins (some rejected by popular vote both in 2006 and 2016) is putting at risk the founding principles of the Constitution in whose text, starting from Article 1, democracy and work form an inseparable combination.
