The Ministry of Business and Made in Italyled by the minister Adolfo Ursohas entered into a program agreement with Campania region and the Municipality of Caivanoaimed at implementing production reconversion and requalification interventions in the Caivano area.
The 2024 budget law has provided for the application of the aid regime intended for the commissioner municipality areas of industrial crisis (Law 181/89). The financial resources allocated for the implementation of the interventions are: 15 million euros.
The program agreement
The agreement, which lasts for 36 monthsprovides for the establishment of a technical committee made up of four members – two representing Mimit, one representing the Region and one representing the Municipality – which will supervise, coordinate and monitor the state of implementation of the interventions with the support technician of Invitaliaentity managing the measure.
The public tender
With a subsequent ministerial provision, the public notice will be published containing the opening terms and methods for submitting applications.
For the purposes of eligibility for benefits, investment projects must include an employment program aimed at increasing or maintaining the number of employees in the production unit.
