There are five names left on the table for promotion (via playoffs) to Serie D.
The pairings, as is well known, saw Liguria included in the maxi grouping with Lombardy B, Sardinia and Umbria and, while awaiting the match between Mapello and Leon, the names of the two clubs from central Italy emerged.
If Cairese were to overcome the next obstacle (the first Lombard opponent between Mapello and Leon will be known on Sunday), in the final they would face the winner of the double match between Ossese and Terni FC.
Last Saturday the Bianconeri from Ossi, a town in the hinterland of Porto Torres located among the characteristic limestone hills, beat Villasimius 3-1, while the 13 points of the rossoverdi ferres on Ellera guaranteed automatic access to the national stage, without going through the internal playoffs, to the Umbrians.
Cairese will debut in Lombardy on May 26th, while the return match is scheduled for June 2nd at Brin.
Whoever prevails will make their home debut on 9 June in the first leg final, the final act seven days later, on 16 June, in Umbria or Sardinia.
